Western Colorado University’s Pathfinder is an annual literature and art magazine published by the Council of Creative Expression of Western Colorado University’s Student Government Association. Our magazine is exclusively created by the students, for the students. The Pathfinder staff members have worked diligently throughout the 2022-2023 academic year to bring you a new version of the publication. All submitted works are judged anonymously by both the literary and design staff. Pathfinder publishes all forms of artistic media - poetry, photography, fiction, graphic design and all other visual and literary art forms. Our writing team works eagerly and thoroughly to copyedit literary works while the design team then merges each aspect of the magazine together by typesetting, designing and producing Pathfinder. Part of our funds allotted by Western’s CCE and SGA also go to annual scholarship awards for exceptional creative works. Our staff hopes each artist selected for this year’s issue takes pride in their creative works, as we simultaneously take pride in our ability to provide a framework within which creative works may be published. We hope you take the time to absorb, reflect, and relish.
